My Synopsis

Date of Diagnosis: 12/16/09
Date of Remission: 6/28/10

Diagnosis: Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage IIIb (Staging refers to the fact that the cancer had not spread to any organs, and that I was experiencing secondary symptoms of the disease.)

Treatment: 6 cycles/12 doses of ABVD: Adriamycin, Bleomycin, Vinblastine (the neon one), Dacarbazine (basically a weapon of mass destruction)

Major Side Effects from Chemo: 
Hair loss
Bone and muscles aches
Mouth and Jaw Pain
Peripheral neuropathy
Nausea
Hot flashes
Muscle weakness
Fatigue
Dry skin
Absent immune system
